You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by using the private mode on your browser. We also recommend you to regularly delete your cookies and your browser history manually.

Section 4 USE OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information about your use of this website generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. In the event that IP-anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP-address will, however, be shortened first by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website, in order to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide other services associated with the website use and Internet use to the website operator.

(2) The IP address transmitted from your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

(3) You can prevent the storage of cookies by making a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website. You can also prevent the recording of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) and its transmission to Google as well as processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. This means that IP address are processed in a shorted form to prevent individuals from being identified. If the data collected from you can be linked to a person, this link shall be eliminated straightaway and the personal data shall be deleted immediately.

(5) We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and to improve it on a regular basis. We can use the obtained statistics to improve our website and to make it more interesting for you as the user. For exceptional cases in which personal data is transmitted to the US, Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 f. GDPR

(6) Information from the third party provider: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Fax: +353 (1) 436 1001 Terms of use: www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html, data privacy overview: support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245, and the data privacy statement: policies.google.com/privacy.

(7) This website also uses Google Analytic for a cross-device analysis of visitor traffic, which is conducted using a user ID. You can disable the cross-device analysis of your use in your customer account under “My data”, “Personal data”.

§5 USE OF LINKS TO SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

(1) We currently use the following social media links: Facebook and Xing. This means that no personal data shall initially be passed on to the providers when you visit our website. You can recognise the link to the provider by the corresponding orange-coloured logo on a white background. We shall give you the opportunity to access our profiles in the corresponding networks directly via the link. If you do not want the provider to get information about your click on the link, you must log out first if you are registered and logged in. In the case of Facebook and Xing, the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection according to information provided by the respective providers in Germany. When you click on the link, your personal data will be transmitted to the respective provider and stored there (in the USA in the case of US American providers) if you are logged in. As the provider primarily collects data through cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser’s security settings before clicking on the greyed out box.

(2) We have no influence on the collected data and data processing operations, and we are not aware of the full scope of the data collection, the purposes of the processing and the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by the provider.

(3) The provider shall store the data collected about you as user profiles if you are logged in and shall use these for purposes of advertising, market research and/or the demand-oriented design of its website. Such an analysis shall be carried out primarily to display demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have a right to object to the formation of these user profiles. To exercise this right, you must contact the respective provider. Via the links, we offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our website and make it more interesting for you as the user.

(4) We recommend that you regularly log out after using a social network, but especially before activating the button as this allows you to prevent an assignment to your profile with the provider.

(5) You can find further information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and the processing by the provider in the data privacy statements of these providers. There, you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and the setting options for the protection of your privacy.

Google will also process your personal data in the USA and is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework

§8 USE OF GOOGLE ADWORDS CONVERSION

(1) We use Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertisements (so-called Google Adwords) on external web pages. In relation to the advertising campaign data, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. In so doing, we are pursuing the goal of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, of making our website more interesting to you and of achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.

(2) These advertisements are delivered by Google via the so-called “Ad Server”. For this, we use Ad Server cookies, which can measure the specific parameters for performance measurement, such as the displaying of advertisements or clicks by the users. If you access our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie will be stored on your PC by Google Adwords. These cookies generally lose their validity after 30 days and are not to be used to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), the last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and the opt-out information (marker that the user does not want to be addressed any more) are generally stored as the analysis values for this cookie.

(3) These cookies allow Google to recognise your browser. If a user visits certain pages of the website of an Adwords customer and the cookie stored on the computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can see that the user has clicked on the advertisement and has been forwarded to this page. Every Adwords customer is assigned a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. We shall not collect and process any personal data ourselves in the aforementioned advertising measures. We shall only receive statistical analyses from Google. On the basis of these analyses, we can identify which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We shall not receive further data from the use of the advertisements. In particular, we cannot identify the user on the basis of this information.

(4) Due to the marketing tools used, your browser will automatically establish a direct link with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and the further use of the data that is collected by Google using these tools, and will therefore provide you with information according to our level of knowledge: through the integration of AdWords Conversion, Google shall be informed that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or have clicked on an advertisement placed by us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and store your IP address.

(5) You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) through a corresponding setting in your browser software – in particular, the suppression of third party cookies leads to you receiving no advertisements from third party providers; b) by opting out of cookies for conversion tracking – by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com www.google.de/settings/ads, whereby this setting shall be deleted if you delete your cookies; c) by opting out of the providers’ interest-related advertisements which are part of the self-regulation campaign “About Ads”, via the link www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting shall be deleted if you delete your cookies; d) by permanently disabling Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome in your browser, using the link support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996. We would like to advise you that you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website in this case.

(6) The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 f. GDPR. You can find further information on data privacy at Google here: policies.google.com/privacy and services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at www.networkadvertising.org. Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

§9 REMARKETING

In addition to Adwords Conversion, we use the application Google Remarketing. This is a process with which we would like to appeal to you again. This application allows our advertisements to be shown to you during your continued use of the Internet after visiting our website. This is done by means of cookies stored on your browser, which are used by Google to record and analyse your usage behaviour when you visit various websites. Thus, your previous visit to our website can be identified by Google. According to its own statements, Google will not combine the data collected in the course of remarketing with your personal data that may be stored by Google. In particular, pseudonymisation is used for remarketing according to Google.

§10 DOUBLECLICK BY GOOGLE

(1) This website also uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to place advertisements that are relevant to the users, to improve the reports on campaign performance or to prevent a user from seeing the same advertisement several times. Via a cookie ID, Google records which advertisements are placed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed multiple times. With the help of cookie IDs, DoubleClick can also track so-called conversions, which relate to advertisement requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick advertisement and later calls up the website of the advertiser with the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.

(2) Due to the marketing tools used, your browser will automatically establish a direct link with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and the further use of the data that is collected by Google using these tools, and will therefore provide you with information according to our level of knowledge: through the integration of DoubleClick, Google is informed that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or have clicked on an advertisement placed by us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and store your IP address.

(3) You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) through a corresponding setting in your browser software – in particular, the suppression of third party cookies leads to you receiving no advertisements from third party providers; b) by opting out of cookies for conversion tracking – by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com www.google.de/settings/ads, whereby this setting shall be deleted if you delete your cookies; c) by opting out of the providers’ interest-related advertisements which are part of the self-regulation campaign “About Ads”, via the link www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting shall be deleted if you delete your cookies; d) by permanently disabling Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome in your browser, using the link support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996. We would like to advise you that you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website in this case.

(4) The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 f. GDPR. You can find further information about DoubleClick by Google at www.doubleclickbygoogle.com/de/ and policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and about data privacy at Google at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at www.networkadvertising.org. Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

As an alternative to a browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, please click this link (Status: opt-out cookie is set) to prevent recording by Google Analytics within this website in the future (the opt-out only works in this browser and only for this domain: www.starke-dms.de). An opt-out cookie shall be placed on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must click this link again.
